Meyersville InnThe INN

The Meyersville Inn is a casual, elegant, family-friendly, neighborhood tavern and restaurant that serves classic American cuisine with regional specialties.

Located at 632 Meyersville Road, in Gillette, NJ, the Inn has long served the local community as a tavern and social landmark dating back to 1900. The original dining rooms, featuring rich mahogany finishes and classic American accents, convey a comfortable old world charm redolent of a distant era. You may even glimpse the spectral figure of Elias Williams, who owned the property in 1850, and to the astonishment of staff and guests, still holds court at his favorite table in the corner of the back dining room.

The Meyersville Inn is delighted to welcome back Chef Hoss, who previously worked at the Inn from 1986 to 2003. He is an accomplished Executive Chef who, in his absence, has perfected his craft at Vincents at the King George Inn in Warren, The Black Horse Inn in Mendham and The Limestone Café in Gladstone. His signature dishes include his famous, moist and delicious Jumbo Lump Crab Cakes and anything Cajun. Having learned authentic Cajun cooking from Louisiana native Dan Walker, previous owner/chef of the Meyersville Inn, Chef Hoss has mastered the subtleties of Creole cooking; selecting wonderful, fresh seafood married with native spices that make his Cajun creations something to savor and rave about. Chef Hoss and his staff are also well known for their mouth watering Italian specialties including Prince Edward Island Mussels served in a delectable spicy or mild Marinara sauce and a three cheese Eggplant Rollatini that rivals your Grandmother's classic recipe. And don't forget the King cut Prime Rib Au Jus, served on Friday and Saturday evenings that is sure to sate even the most voracious meat lover's appetite.

The staff and owners of the Meyersville Inn cordially invite you back to the restaurant and tavern to experience the old world history and tradition of dining at a cozy, community landmark that offers delicious, hearty fare at a fair price.
